What is ACP?
Academic and Career Planning, or ACP, is a student-driven, adult-supported process designed to help students create their own unique vision for post-secondary success. As each student navigates through this process they will be exposed to many different possibilities.
Stockbridge ACP plan approved by school board: 11/15/23
Participate in ACP
Academic and Career Planning or ACP is for all of our students. Every student deserves to be prepared for opportunities after high school. This includes students with disabilities who have Individualized Education Programs/Post-secondary Transition Plans, as well as students with Section 504 Accommodation Plans, English Learners, students who are Gifted and Talented, students who are homeless, and students considered neglected and delinquent. Students will be empowered to develop an academic and career plan that documents and guides their journey through grades 6-12 and beyond.

Personal Development for Staff

Future Implementation
The Stockbridge School District continuously monitors students' college and career readiness by reviewing the necessary academic and career data elements as indicated on the District Report Card, ACT reports, Infinite Campus (attendance, grades, GPA, AP Courses, and Dual Enrollment), involvement in co-curriculars, workplace learning, service hours, and earned industry credentials. Data is gathered to appropriately assess our college, career, and life readiness. This enables Stockbridge School District to track the progress of cohorts of students, as well as individual students. The District will set annual continuous improvement goals based on the academic and career data elements.
